Cookies

Which cookies and browser storage the service uses and why there is no cookie banner.

Updated 12 October 2026.

In short

GRABIT uses only its own cookies that are necessary for the service you asked for or that remember the choices you made (language, city). There are no advertising, analytics or third-party cookies and no tracking across websites. Such cookies do not require consent under EU rules (ePrivacy Directive art. 5(3), CNIL guidance), so we do not show a cookie banner. If we ever add cookies that need consent, we will ask first.

Cookies we set

Storage in your browser

The site also keeps some data only in your browser, never sent to third parties: the colour theme, chat sound, vibration and voice settings, unsent message drafts and messages or files waiting to be sent, the last city, listing and searches, a listing draft, how often the “install the app” prompt was shown, and a cache of the app itself so it opens quickly. It also remembers which update of these documents it has already told you about, so as not to show it twice. It also remembers the camera and microphone you chose in «Check camera and microphone», so that calls use them; the check itself records and sends nothing.

How to control cookies

You can delete cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. Without the session cookie you will be signed out; without the others the site will forget your choices.
