1. About these terms
These Terms of Use govern your use of the GRABIT website grabitmap.com and the GRABIT apps (the “service”). The service is operated by the operator named in the Legal notice (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy.
The English version is the reference text. For users living in France the French version applies. Other language versions are translations provided for convenience; if they differ, the English version (or the French version for users in France) prevails.
2. What GRABIT is
GRABIT is a service for finding jobs and pros near you: people and companies publish listings (jobs, services, profiles), find each other by city and profession, and talk in private chats, groups and calls. We host what users publish; we are not a party to the agreements users make with each other, we do not employ anyone through the service and we do not check the quality of work offered.
3. Who may use the service
- You must be at least 18 years old. By creating an account you confirm that you are.
- One person — one account. An account for a company must be created by a person entitled to act for it.
- You must not use the service if we have previously closed your account for serious breaches, unless we allow it.
4. Your account and your name
- Sign-in is by a code sent to your e-mail address; you can add a password, passkeys and an app lock. Keep access to your e-mail secure — anyone who controls it can sign in.
- Use your real name. You may also show a username. A name that is clearly false (a celebrity, an object, an insult, someone else's identity) can lose trust marks (such as a verified badge) and, if it is used to mislead others, lead to restrictions under section 8.
- Keep your profile accurate. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
5. Your content
- You keep the rights to what you publish (listings, photos, messages, voice notes, videos). You give us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, reproduce, adapt for display and show it to other users, only for running and promoting the service, for as long as the content is on the service (and in backups for their retention period).
- Listings and public profiles are visible to everyone, including people who are not signed in and search engines. Private messages are visible to their participants; group messages — to the members of the group.
- You confirm that you have the right to publish what you publish and that it does not break the law or these terms.
6. What is not allowed
- Fraud and scams: fake jobs, advance-fee schemes, requests for payment outside a real agreement, phishing, fake reviews or ratings.
- Illegal content and activity, including illegal work, trafficking or exploitation of people, sale of prohibited goods or services, and content involving the sexual abuse of children.
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, discrimination, doxxing, publishing other people's personal data or images without their consent.
- Sexual content, violence and other content unsuitable for a general audience.
- Spam, mass unsolicited messages, duplicate listings, misleading rubric or city.
- Impersonating another person or company; clearly false names (see section 4).
- Interfering with the service: automated scraping or account creation, attacks, attempts to bypass limits or access other people's data.
- Infringing copyright, trademarks or other rights.
7. Moderation and automated checks
- Listings are checked before or after publication. Texts are also checked automatically by a machine-learning model we call Jev (see the Privacy Policy). Automation only marks what looks suspicious and puts it first in the moderators' queue; it never hides, deletes or blocks anything by itself. A person makes every decision.
- Moderators are our team and, for some cities and groups, trusted users (city helpers, group moderators) acting under these terms.
- Anyone can report a listing, a profile, a message or a group from the service. Reports must be precise and made in good faith. Authorities and anyone without an account can also notify us of illegal content by e-mail (section 12). We handle notices promptly, diligently and objectively and tell the person who reported what we decided.
- When we restrict your content or account (hide or reject a listing, remove a message, limit features, suspend or close the account) we tell you what we did, why, which rule or law it is based on, whether automation was involved, and how to contest it — unless the content is deceptive high-volume commercial spam or the law forbids telling you.
8. Measures and repeated breaches
- Depending on how serious the breach is, we may: hide or remove content, reduce its visibility, remove trust marks, limit features (for example sending messages or publishing listings), suspend the account for a period, or close it.
- After a warning, we may suspend accounts that frequently publish manifestly illegal content, and stop processing reports from people who frequently send manifestly unfounded ones.
- We report to the authorities when the law requires it, in particular where there is a threat to someone's life or safety.
9. Appeals and disputes
- You can contest any moderation decision within 6 months: from the listing page or by writing to the contact address. A person, not a machine, looks at the decision again, free of charge; we answer without undue delay and reverse the decision if the appeal is justified.
- You can also turn to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body under the EU Digital Services Act, and you can always go to court.
- Consumers in the EU can use the consumer mediator named in the Legal notice and the EU online dispute resolution information at the European Commission.
10. Deals between users
Agreements about work, services, prices and payments are made directly between users, at their own risk. We do not hold money, do not guarantee payment or the quality of work and are not an employer or agent. Never pay in advance to someone you do not know; report suspicious requests. Paid features we offer (such as promoting a listing) are described with their price before you order them.
11. Our responsibility
- We provide the service as it is and work to keep it available and secure, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or stop features; for significant changes we give notice when we reasonably can.
- As a hosting service we are not responsible for content published by users unless we knew it was illegal and did not act promptly once we became aware of it.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or gross negligence, and your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
12. Contact points
Users and authorities (including EU Member State authorities, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services) can reach us at the address below, in English, French or Russian.

13. Ending the agreement
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → “Delete account” (30 days to change your mind, see the Privacy Policy). We may end the agreement under section 8 or if the service is discontinued, with notice where possible.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when the service or the law changes. For significant changes we tell you in the service in advance; the date at the top shows the current version. If you do not agree, you can delete your account; continuing to use the service after the change means you accept it.
15. Applicable law and courts
These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country. Otherwise the courts competent under French law have jurisdiction.
Regional additions
- European Union: the EU Digital Services Act and the GDPR apply as described above and in the Privacy Policy.
- France: the French version of these terms applies; consumer mediation — see the Legal notice.
- Other countries: additional provisions will be added here as the service launches there.
